Lunchtime and After School Clubs
A wide range of after school and lunchtime clubs for children are available. After school activities vary according to staff, visitor and parent expertise and the time of year. Please see the link below to the rota for the current term's activities.
Children also take party in a number of educational visits, which usually link to topic work undertaken in the class. Although most visits are to locations which are open to the public, we usually have access to extra facilities and specialist help. We also have visitors who come to the school to enhance and enrich the day to day provision, through specialist skills, knowledge or experience.
We ask for a voluntary contribution from parents to cover the cost to the school so that the visits can continue. We offer a residential visit to our Year 6 and Year 5 children, which enables them to experience a wide variety of exciting indoor and outdoor activities.
We want our children to be part of the local community, so we involve those around us in the life of the School. This includes other local schools, local emergency and health services, some local groups and or individuals, who talk to the children on a range of issues and occasionally run classes and workshops. We also belong to various school partnerships which promote sport, modern languages and Education Improvement. Here you can find links to various clubs that we are affiliated with.
We also run a daily Breakfast and After School Club. Please click on the link for more information.
