French Day

Robins class really enjoyed celebrating French day this week. We worked on our accuracy in the game petanque by trying to get as close to the small ball as we could. We used our knowledge of the French colours to colour Little Red Riding hood and then performed a play of the story in French. It was a day filled with lots of art, we made junk models of the Eiffel tower and we looked at the artist Matisse. We followed his style of art by ‘drawing with scissors’. We thought about different colours and shapes and how they could be arranged on the page.
