What Puffins have been up to in March
We have been looking closely at how our school environment is changing – so many yellow daffodils, pink blossom and buds on trees starting to grow. We planted our own cress seeds and talked about the right conditions necessary for growth. We also used magnifying glasses to look closely at the shape of the cress leaves and had a go at drawing and labelling them. We all enjoyed digging the soil and planting some bulbs outside in our flower bed area to help make our garden colourful during the summer months.
It was fantastic to see everybody dress as their favourite book character for World Book Day; I hope you all managed to claim the free book using the book day voucher.
Jack and the Beanstalk provided a great starting point for exploring growth and height. Thank you for spending time at home searching for those short and tall items, we are going to be sharing everybody’s findings next week in school. Please remember to post any relevant observations including photograph and comment to the 2Simple email if easier.
