On June 30th we celebrated our first French Day at the Butts. Dressed in the colours of the French flag, the children enjoyed a day of French-themed activities which culminated in a whole school assembly to share some of the highlights of the day. There was even a delicious French meal which was provided by our school kitchen which went down very well.
In Key Stage One there was lots of art and the children even created 3D models of the Eiffel Tower out of materials ranging from cereal boxes to Duplo! The children in Key Stage Two also enjoyed French-themed art activities as well as learning how to cheer on their favourite football team in French!
